"Ray of Hope" is a worldwide musical charity project.
President of Israel and noble peace prize winner, Mr. Shimon Peres, donated a text to www.Songweavers.com,
a web site dedicated to bringing musicians from all over the world close enough to collaborate.
The vision behind the site is that people can unite for peace through music.
And indeed, many musicians from all over the world are taking part in this unique project:
An album is to be released with many versions of Mr. Peres' text.
The version by Omri Lahav, with Austrian singer Sonja Perenda, was selected Songweavers' Song of the Month, May 2008.
The CD is fresh out of mastering (at the hands of Allen Cooper), and already is recieving great media exposure!
Versions by Lahav and other members are played on the Israeli "Radio Haifa, 107.5fm".
