Back in 2013, me and my dear old friend Infy Snow took the first step in the thousand mile journey we share - and met in my studio to begin work on Infy's song, Black Light.

Things very quickly got out of hand, and we soon found ourselves producing an album, featuring Infy's songs, as well as two songs composed by yours truly, and several songs composed...

September 23rd, 2015.

For the past month, my white board has been adorned with a slowly filling electric guitar chart, and two days ago I ticked the final box!

After a two day break to clear my head, today I sat down and listened through the whole album… without any of my draft tracks – only (raw, unmixed) final recordings.

I was so pleased with the results...

August 27th – September 1st.

I’ve wanted to get a really great, warm, vintage guitar amp for this album – something along the lines of a 65 Fender Twin Reveb, Marshall JTM 45 or VOX AC30… So I contacted a vintage amp collector who happens to live in my area!
After two meetings cancelled and three calls going to voicemail, I let it go.

Having found nothing of...

August 6th – 27th, 2015.

With the acoustic guitars recorded, edited and sounding great, I was ready to move on to the next step(s)!

My good friend Yotam Ronen had recently purchased a wonderful Gretsch resonator, which I immediately borrowed for the recordings, of course!
It was recorded with an Audio Technica Pro-35 condenser mic, as well as a vintage Grund...

July 8th - August 1st, 2015.

All the drums were recorded and edited... the songs were already sounding great - even with just my early drafts!

It was time to start layering the backbone of the album - acoustic guitars!

My good friend and collaborator Etzy Tal, lent me his vintage Taylor, and I was ready to begin :)

I took the guitars to my guitar doctor - Yot...

Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 - 09:00 AM.

I am joined in the studio by drummer Bar Guzi and recording engineer Itay Haruvi.

Having spent half a day setting up, positioning microphones, getting creative with the room mic placements, setting up projects, building a bass drum tunnel, and most importantly - tuning the drums... we're finally ready to start recording!

An...

Times, they are changing... and I know I won't fit in unless you show.
Wish you could make it, 'cuz I can't remember how to walk alone.

Yesterday I met with two of my closest and oldest friends - Bar Guzi and Yotam Ronen, to go over all the drum parts and make sure we're on the same page before recording starts next week.

We ended up recording drafts for 6 s...

We’re almost there… a month from now, we’ll be setting up mics and getting ready to hit the record button for the first time!

The songs have gone through revisions and refinement, pre-production is almost done, and I can say with all my heart –

I absolutely LOVE this album!

I am proud to put my name on it, and more importantly, I am genuinely excited to make...

April 23, 2015

That was the final nail in the coffin.
If my colleagues view me as a “hired gun”, I’ve been playing other people’s music for too long.

I have a feeling I will remember 2015 as a transformation year for years to come.

When it started, I was a happy little caterpillar, crawling about the garden, munching on its abundant green delights!

As it progressed… I had s...
