On April 13th, 2016, I drove up north to meet a talented friend, Inbal Kim Nahir.
Kimmy has a keen eye and a great aesthetic sense, and I trusted her to shoot my album cover, as well as some "ambient" shots to be used for the rest of the design process.
The weather was blissfully winteresque, and I could not have planned it better myself!
We found a beautiful, abandoned old house, with green-yellow ferns, and decided to shoot around it.
Kimmy brought a vintage wooden chair, we blasted the album from my phone (Nexus 6P speakers rock!), and started taking shots.
We ended up with more than we needed, which is perfect - and went back to Kim's magical Forest studio to do some editing.
I am absolutely thrilled with the tone and feel of these amazing shots - they really capture the essence of the album... here's a quick taste :)
As always, thanks for listening :)
Stay tuned for more stories from the making of Dust!
