It's been a little over a year since I last posted in this blog, for no other reason than I was unable to clear the time and mind-space to do so.
But as my life is slowly beginning to stabilize, I expect to be back more frequently!
So as some of you know, the reason for my absence was that I had moved my life and career from a small town in Israel to the big city of Los-Angeles - not at all a simple endeavor!
On May 28th, 2016 my significant other, Inbal-Rotem Sagiv and I said goodbye to our families, friends and colleagues, grabbed what few things we could fit in our bags - and took off from Ben-Gurion airport, Tel-Aviv.
After an 18 hour flight we arrived in Los-Angeles, and started from scratch - no family, no friends, no job, no real connections - just hopes and dreams.
The mere fact that today, over a year later, we live, work and play in LA is a triumph in my book!
It's been a hell of a year!
During the second half of 2016 and the first half of 2017 I have written more music that I've ever written in any other similar period.
I've created music for 8 short films, a feature film, 4 commercials, 2 web-series, a TV pilot, an animated series, the second season of "Ron", two video games, a children's play, an infomercial, an entire album for a client as well as numerous original songs and independent pieces of music.
I've collaborated with many amazingly talented people, made new friends, built bridges and relentlessly pursued my dreams!
I am incredibly proud of these accomplishments, and the new life Inbal and I built with our own hands. With the incredible support of our families and friends (both old and new), we are feeling more and more at home every day.
It looks like the back half of 2017 will be just as busy (if not more so), but at least life is feeling a little more stable now - emotionally, financially, physically.
With that stability, new musical releases will flow more regularly, watch for them on this blog, or your favorite social media (see links at the top of website).
Thank you for your patience, and for reading to the end :)
